Portraits of the beauty of music
Music and musician photographer based in the NY/NJ tri-state area
How do you capture the emotion of a symphony in a photograph? Initially one’s instinct is to say you can’t. Music is ephemeral and is soaked in by its audience in the present moment. It’s a rapid shift in emotion, time, and expression. It’s a momentous collaborative effort that depends deeply on the connection of an ensemble. To capture the essence of a musical performance with photography is my main objective and passion. It takes both an artists eye and and musician to do so.
